Bluemoon Projects is a registered non-profit dedicated to providing social assistance to marginalised and impoverished communities in and around Cape Town. We lay better foundations through a sustainable model of early childhood development.
Our Story
Every centre we build is the start of something bigger, skills, jobs, nutrition, and a community that keeps it going.
We transform inadequate structures into fireproof, flood-resistant ECD centres with kitchens, playgrounds, gardens, and disability access, then help formalise them to government standards.
On every project we employ and train local community members in real construction skills, safety, technique, equipment, and project management, opening doors to lasting work.
Food and disaster relief, soup kitchens, teacher support, and our hands-on "Do It Days" bring volunteers and communities together to keep the change going.
What this work has meant for Cape Town's communities so far.
Where your money goes. Bluemoon is a registered Non-Profit Company and PBO. Since 2016 we've delivered more than R14.8 million in community projects, and every donation goes directly into building and formalising ECD centres, training, and relief work.
